Legal Motherless Avuncular Test (1 Child - 1 Aunt or Uncle)

An avuncular test involves testing the child’s paternal aunt or uncle (the alleged father’s sister or brother). Including the mother in this test is strongly recommended as it strengthens the genetic evidence. Generally, this test will not give results as strong as a grand parentage test, but it is still a good option if the only people available for testing are the alleged father's siblings.

A legal avuncular test is conclusive, legally binding test that is recognized by courts and other government agencies. A legal avuncular test will provide you with testing results that can be used for legal purposes, such as custody and inheritance. This test MUST follow the Chain of Custody process, the legal documentation that makes the results defensible in a court.
